It is tempting to conceal past immigration issue when you are applying afresh. Many Nigerian applicants have had previous immigration or legal issues that they decide not to disclose, such as visa refusals, bans or certain criminal convictions already spent — especially if a long time has passed. Concealing an immigration issue is termed as ‘Misrepresentation of Character’
If they believe an applicant has attempted to mislead or misrepresent themselves intentionally (deception), a visa refusal or another ban is certain. It is important to open up about past immigration issues.
Note: A visa refusal is not the end of your migration journey; it doesn’t render your future visa applications useless.
